Global distribution

Tinder infection develops on foliage through the temperate and boreal areas of the northern hemisphere, and is also present in Europe, north indonesia along with America. North of their array they occurs mainly on birch forest (Betula spp.), however in areas of European countries truly widespread on beech woods (Fagus sylvatica) but also increases on sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) and aspen (Populus tremula). In united states it’s typical on birches, but at the same time occurs on maples (Acer spp.), poplars (Populus spp.) and alders (Alnus spp.). It is often recorded from Pakistan, northern Iran and chicken, exactly where it gets on poplars (Populus spp.), during northern Japan it gets on Japanese beech trees (Fagus crenata). (more…)
